Woohoo Kat Martin sets the pages on fire with intense fiery desire and a thrill-a-minute plot in Against The Sun! I cannot believe this is my first glimpse into Ms. Martin’s The Raines of Wild Canyon series! I am in LOVE! Jake and Sage won me over big-time with their domineering personalities and sexual tension. The attraction between these two is blistering! Ms. Martin keeps things heated with the exceptional plot. I was engulfed with the dynamics of this fabulous story. The interaction between Sage, Jake and the Saudis is interesting and unique. I found the cultural nuances curious and exciting. I liked Sage’s battle with her views of the American woman vs. the Saudi woman’s culture. And let’s face it Jake is just bloody HOT! I mean you know he’s buff, smart and Alpha enough to get any woman hot and bothered. I would not be turning that bodyguard down! 
Read Against The Sun this exceptional novel will give you Kat Martin fever! I can’t wait to go out and get the rest of this awesome series! I happily Joyfully Recommend it!

Martin has an amazing ability to weave different plot threads together creating suspense and mystery. She has created a group of male characters that woman cannot help but fall in love with. I adore that she pairs them with strong, capable woman. I recommend Against the Sun and the Raines of Canyon series to fans of romantic suspense and swoon-worthy men. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. Kat Martin writes romances novels in all genres from paranormal to historical. I have read quite a few and enjoyed them, so be sure and check them out. I want to thanks Harlequin and netGalley for providing this ARC in exchange for my unbiased review.
