I wasn’t sure what to expect when
I agreed to review “Against the Storm” by author Kat Martin but…I
certainly didn’t expect to read a romance novel that was as
fast-paced, compelling and interesting as one of today’s
well-written action / adventure novels. After finishing my copy of
“Against the Storm” I can completely understand why Kat Martin is a
New York Times and USA Today bestselling author.

Against The Storm is as unpredictable and volatile
as the title suggests. The plot is packed with as
many hairpin curves as an Alpine road and revolves
around a yummy hard-bodied former army ranger with a
penchant for smart, sexy redheads. Sorry, but this
novel does not provide drool cloths. And just when
you think you have it figured out, Kat Martin throws
you a mind-blowing twist that leaves you gaping.
Against The Storm is the fourth edition in The
Raines of Wind Canyon series. Each novel stands
alone. Each novel has its own heart stopping
moments. Now available in all bookstores and
on-line.
Great, haunting,

Crystal Book Reviews
Kat Martin's writing
gets better and better. She writes a great mystery and adds just
enough romance to entice and endear every reader. Great, haunting,
and sizzling story Ms. Martin.
Readers aren't going to be able to put the lights out until the last page.
RT BookReviews
êêêê1/2 HOT Fans of Martin's Rains of Wind Canyon trilogy are going to love meeting this testosterone-and-honor-laden family. Trace is an upright guy with a predilection for redheads in distress and Maggie is a redhead with a big problem. The chemistry between them sizzles, the romantic suspense is tautly compelling and the psychological terror ratchets up with each red herring. Readers aren't going to be able to put the lights out until the last page.
A tense psychological thriller ...

"[Against the Storm] is a tense psychological thriller ... Fast-paced with two obstinate fully developed protagonists, readers will feel the growing tension but are unsure what is going on as reasonable twists fool the audience and the hero. Kat Martin is at her best with Against the Storm."
Truly a gifted
author, I’ve never read a book by Kat Martin that wasn’t immediately
headed for my keeper shelf.

Truly a
gifted author, I’ve never read a book by Kat Martin that wasn’t
immediately headed for my keeper shelf. Historical or
contemporary, she’s a must read for me. With Against the Storm
she proves once again why I keep coming back for more. Trace is
exactly what I’m looking for in a hero while Maggie’s spunkiness
makes her a heroine that I can root for! I can’t wait for Kat
Martin’s next offering!!
Gloriously
suspenseful, magnificent reading ...
